PUBG, AC Odyssey, and about 70 other games installed to the PC (but not necessarily the same drive) don't seem to have this issue at last check. Battlefield V, also on the same drive, runs fine. In fact, I had just finished playing some Destiny 2 for a couple of hours prior to firing up Hitman 2 and that ran fine, also installed to the same drive.
